Maybe not, but if it comes down to "we win the West if we move it and play Florida" or "we play S Ala and don't win the West", his own fans will strong arm him.

Here's the problem. What if the only way LSU gets a chance to win the SECw is by playing Florida on 11/19? I still think the option of LSU-Ark moving to 10/29 and USA playing us on 11/12 is an option, as an example. Sometimes you have to not cut off your nose to spite your face. Joe standing firm about 11/19 is a little on the arrogant side. What he should have said is that LSU is not giving up a home game, and we are not playing 3 road games in a row.

My stance has been that we HAVE to play the game, somehow, somewhere, sometime, in order to give our kids a chance to win the West. If that means canceling the S Ala game, then so be it.
