Hey guys
Finishing up plans for our pool and I've got it just right on budget, but going back and forth on decking
Currently they have us down for single color textured concrete no stain
Wondering if going for upgraded is worth the extra money? It's an extra 3-4K for travertine

Travertine gets slick as owl shite when wet. I would stay with the concrete.

I'm a pool builder in Houston. Travertine is soft so it can break easily. It gets extremely hot, and as mentioned before it's very slick. If you have kiddo's, I would recommend staying away.

This is what we used and I really like it. Does not get extremely hot and easy to care for. It's called Shellock Atlantic Series Pavers. LINK
