UGA and FLA share bye weeks on Oct 22
Move UGA @ FLA game to Oct 22 (their bye week)
Move LSU @ FLA game to OCT 29 (our bye week)
Problem solved

From the 1st post:
the projected magnitude of its impact and the unknown aftermath of this storm have resulted in this decision to seek another date to play the LSU-Florida game.

what's funny is that if this all goes down last week, nobody gives a shite. But since we beat up on Mizzou, all of the sudden we are getting a SEC title stripped away from us.

If cancelled FL should have to forfeit.
If postponed...well...F em anyway!

That is factual information right there.

Interesting that you don't see the word "forfeit" in any official word from Foley.

Perhaps we shouldn't have lost to Auburn or Wisconsin.
It's a bit unrealistic to think we win out, beat Alabama, and the Gumps don't drop another one somewhere.
In that case, we should just play a 4-game season instead of 12.

No they don't.
They'd lose head to head regardless of they played extra game.
Win-loss record counts before ANY tie-breaker.

Nice hyperbole.
It's not that the title is stripped away, it's that we no longer have a realistic chance of getting to the SECCG.

South Alabama beat Miss State - why don't we just have them count our game against them as a conference game?

For good measure he could end his statement by calling UF a bunch of jort wearing Puss***.

So by all means, let's all get enraged immediately. I could maybe see being upset if we did run the table and got left out because we finished a half game back of bama. But to get mad now before any of those games have even been played, particularly Bama, is just LOL worthy.

This is from The Advocate:
The SEC and both schools "will work to reschedule" it later in 2016, a statement from the school said.
"We had a very productive phone call today with a great spirit of cooperation between the universities’ presidents and athletics directors and it became clear that the University of Florida could neither host nor travel to a game this weekend considering the circumstances,” SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said in a statement. “The developments of the hurricane in the last 24 hours, the projected magnitude of its impact and the unknown aftermath of this storm have resulted in this decision to seek another date to play the LSU-Florida game. We have to be sensitive to the possible imminent disruption to the state of Florida and in particular the Gainesville and surrounding area.”
At this time the schools do not have a common open date on which to reschedule the game, so the schools and SEC office will make every effort to find a scheduling solution with the possible movement of other games on the schools’ schedules. Before deciding to postpone the game, the schools and SEC explored other date and location options, and LSU offered to either travel or host the game over the course of the weekend, the statement said.
Ultimately it was determined that the likelihood of damage from the storm, lack of available emergency personnel and the uncertainty of the impact of the storm on people, facilities and travel necessitated a postponement.

I would force Floriuda to forfeit. Seriously, screw them for doing this shite. All their fault when there were options to get this game in. But hey, they were really banged up, QB out, DL out, so I get it, they went for the long ball and are "winning" in this if they get it rescheduled for their creampuff day while we lose a home game and a ton of money for their own selfish reasons.
SEC needs to step in and say "you had another option, one USCe took last year, you chose against it, we are not rescheduling on a date they have a game...you get a L, they get a W"
