Did I really need to pull up a link that described one former LSU quarterback giving advice to another (Brandon Harris) on how to deal with death threats from the "fanbase?" Seriously? Whoever that is needs to be excommunicated from anything and everything that represents where I went to school and the team I have loved my whole life. Whoever this is needs to go @#$% themself. It's a game played by 20 yr olds.

You're posting on the rant. Are you really surprised by this behavior?

Could be Bama fans pretending to be LSU fans for all we know.

They're willing to kill trees, kill people and drag their naked nutsacks across the faces of opposing fans (who were passed out and unable to defend against the assault) over football games.

Not saying for certain this is the case here, but it's totally something they would do, and I certainly wouldn't put it past them.

Seems to be a tradition. Howard, then Jennings and now Harris. There were probably some between Howard and Jennings too.

ETA: and Lee

Not surprised. I know it goes on, but it needs to be addressed. It's sickening. These pieces of shite need to say that to some players faces and see what happens. They won't though because they are the biggest, cowardly dumbasses that exist

Bruh if you really believe Harris didnt get any death threats after the Wisconsin game you are honestly fricking dumb. There are some terrible people out there that take football way too serious.

I really don't know why they don't. Seems it would create some repercussion for the behavior.

It is way to easy to make death threats now with social media so people throw around go kill yourself and you should die really very casually. Back in the day you had to cut the letters out of magazines to make your death threat and the either drive to deliver it or pay for postage.

They should post the email address or social media handles and embarrass these people.

Surprised? No. Disappointed? Yes.
Completely ridiculous.

It's just ridiculous that someone would do that. I mean I get mad, but it's more of a general feeling not directed toward anything specifically. Sending death threats is psychotic. These people seriously need to be put in a mental institution but not before they are thoroughly dealt with by the football team....maybe that should be anonymous as well

It happens at every school and is the result of social media.

Just by glancing at Brandon Harris' Instagram account, you can see negativity spewed on every post he has made. It's very disturbing to read, especially most of it coming from Tiger "fans".

I realize it happens at every school. So what? It is not the result of social media though. Social media just makes it easier

Sending anything like that is absurd but I am wondering how many of these were people saying "go kill yourself" "you should die" etc. It doesn't make any less stupid but its hard to read any comment section on the internet without seeing stuff like that.

I posted a thread on my way back from Green Bay. I read them with my own eyes. They were on the comments of his last Instagram post.

They were definitely LSU fans, because I clicked on a few of the people posting. For the most part they were wearing LSU gear in their profile picture.

A few looked like kids and a couple calling him the N word looked to be grown men.
