No

Put him on the Milwaukee Brewers, with the same numbers, are you asking this question?

Without looking at his numbers I say no.

He'd have to age very well.

Eventually yes. It's tough to keep a guy who's got a RotY and MVP put of the Hall, especially given he will keep racking up gold gloves.

His personality of grit will help him quite a bit

No, if he retired tomorrow but he's a guy that needs to be viewed in totality when done.. He's got 4 gold gloves, an MVP, a roy and somewhere around 7 all star appearances.. He needs to get as close to 3000 hits as possible and keep raking doubles with another gold glove... To say he's not heading the way of the hall would be wrong but he's still got work to do..

There was a discussion about this a few weeks ago. I believe Pedroia is two or three good seasons away from being a HOF caliber player. For me, Pedroia needs to reach at least 60 WAR to be considered a HOFer. Pretty much every HOF 2B who started their career after World War II accumulated 60 WAR. The one exception to the rule is Bill Mazeroski who was a very controversial pick and took forever to get in. But other than him, 60 WAR has usually been the benchmark or a HOF 2B. Pedroia's at 50 WAR right now for his career and is having a 5 WAR season this year. Considering his age, it's pretty much a lock he'll get to 60 WAR unless he has some terrible luck with injuries for the next few years. So yeah, I would say Pedroia is a HOFer as long as he can stay healthy and be productive for the next two or three seasons.

He might make it with the Red Sox connection. However, he is not deserving at all of the HOF

Not yet. But he could still get there with another good 5-6 years.

Going by career accomplishments? No. Looking at Cano, another elite 2B of this generation, if he gets in, Pedroia should. Didn't realize Cano is 33, feels like I've been watching the 2 of them for 20 years now.
