Is he even playing, wasn't even listed on the roster?
Washington is younger but roster for the game has Roddy above them both and they aren't even list? Smh?

I wouldn't take the depth chart too literally. I still think Desean might be in on a few passing downs.

Can't answer that question directly about Washington, but I feel comfortable saying it's not a lack of talent receiving the football. I can only assume he isn't blocking as well as those head of him.

Either that or there is something intangible in play (attitude, work ethic, etc).

Or Les and Cam have yet to figure out how to use the tight end position.

Roddy wasn't super thrilled about the move to TE. They may be trying to encourage him a bit.

I've been waiting for Jacory to get some playing time. When we signed him I thought we finally had found ourselves a receiving tight end. How much did deangelo Peterson play his senior year? He wasn't really a blocking tight end.

Tight end is basically a 6th oline man on this offense. Not Saying that's good or bad. It's just the way it is.

I see what you did there.

Which is why its weird that Les recruits these guys. I said in the depth chart thread that he recruits them and then wastes their college careers because they're not elite blockers. Something he surely knew when he recruited them.

Let them sit the bench rather than hurt us by playing at another school is all I got.

These two right here are great examples of how good of a recruiter Les is. They knew what our offense was when they signed here.

Didn't Jacory win the skills competition at The Opening? I doubt it's a talent thing with him, he's just not the 6th OL that Les wants.

Any TE that can't block at an elite level will never sniff the NFL. The better develop into a great blocker who can catch or switch positions. Ppl talk about smith but we have no idea why he's not starting. Maybe the other kids are just better ?

In fairness, Jimmy Graham described himself as a WR because he was split out twice as often than in tight. Unfortunately for him, the arbitrator disagreed.
