Wasn't too long ago

Do you feel the max punishment, for an extreme crime, should be optional to view by the public of all ages?

And can you see this practice returning as an accepted normal in America?

Sure, after Muslims take over it will be accepted.

I'd hope not.

Does this mean Executioner is now valid resume fluff? Is this what Obama meant by shovel ready?

If we're going to have capital punishment then they should be done in Public. As a warning.

I don't have enough faith in our justice system to get it right every time. Our system is not perfect. Anyone in favor of the death penalty either:

1)Is ok with killing the occasional innocent person.

Or

2)Believes the court system is never wrong.

If you could show me they got it correct every time i would agree with the practice.

Absolutely in favor. If we had that, more criminals would be like "oh...damn. Well I sure don't want that.."

It'd be a hell of a crime deterrent IMO.

Doesn't matter what anyone "feels". This country is softer than ever before. There's a better chance of Roe v Wade being overturned.

This. When all the tough talk is over, this is what it boils down to.

Just lop their head off behind the building. No need to make a spectacle of it.

People always talk about criminal justice measures or punishments as being possible deterrents. The problem is most criminals believe they will never be caught. This country would be best suited in investing in measures, polices, and practices that promote quality parenting as a solution to crime.
