The 2017 Genesis G90 is the first model in the new brand's lineup. What was once the name of Hyundai's high-end sedan, Genesis is now the name of Hyundai's luxury brand. The G90 sedan sits at the top of the Genesis brand and replaces the current Hyundai Equus sedan.
$65k

It doesn't seem like a car you would drive yourself in.

Hyundai is the new Honda. Started out crappy, then decided to make quality vehicles, and picking up market share ever since.

Saw this at the Austin car show (probably was top of the line). You can control everything from the back for the OT ballers who have a driver. The passenger seat can fold up and slide up almost under the dash which allow the rear seat on that side to really recline with stupid legroom or for a chick to easily sit in your lap. Still that much for a Hyundai is steep.

Was very close to pulling the trigger on a Genesis 5.0 (now G80).....exact same car. Sad thing is, the 5.0L engine is being replaced.
I had that bad boy down to $41k and at 420HP and LOADED, it was tempting but I couldn't justify coming out of pocket beyond my budget for a company vehicle. (with tax it was $44k).
I settled on a smaller, adolescent toy.
Hyundai makes pretty damn good cars these days. The Genesis will catch on but will always be seen a bit on the budget side.

I was getting my wife's oil changed last Friday and a Salesman mentioned that to me. He said the Equass would come out the year after.
He also told me the lead Engineer who designed the Genesis was the same one who designed the BMW 5 series Pre 2006.

Thoughts on the screens behind the front row seats? I have seen that on new land cruisers. Seems too Easy to knock

The g90 looks like an extended version of the 2015 sonata

No Thanks.
My parents had a Genesis. It was a piece of shite. Nice looking and good warranty, but there were so many serious problems with that car that they were afraid to take it anywhere. It had a knack for breaking down on busy highways.
I don't think it lasted 45,000 miles.
