LA hasn't been dried out enough sine 1842 when columbus sailed the ocean.

Yes, but the mounds of trash all over BR are still there and high winds would turn them into frag grenades.

Where the hell did this come from? Yesterday morning I don't even think it had 92L on any advisory. That's not good. What's the dry air look like across the Gulf? Hopefully it gets shredded because it looks like it's going to move our way.

Yea, it's been getting hammered by shear today. Shear is forecast to stay pretty high keeping this in check.

NHC backed 92L chances down to 30%. The LLC is still convection less but some storms are firing closer to the center just off to the SE:
