Brady's, who's quite possibly the GOAT QB, was taken in the 6th round.

He said "almost".

But if you're looking for a low draft or I drafted QB to do well then behind a guy like Romo or Brady is probably a good place to be. Considering they are examples of success coming from that situation. One clearly more than the other, but successful still

I guess we'll find out around week 8 when Romo goes down again.

Is the second round no longer the front of the draft?

I heard they did okay in the league being drafted low/not at all.

All good to great starting QBs pick outside the first round, and that's just currently. Historically you have some of tGOAT picked relatively low.

Joe Montana was also drafted in the 3rd round.

How does a QB in the NFL even get put in a position in training camp to possibly break their ankle? This sounds like something that would happen to my Saints.

Thankfully Stevie Boy runs the show now.

If you want to be serious Jerry really didn't do horrible as GM. He was better than Stevie the first time and there's plenty of teams that have made horrible decisions.

I said that because the reports were that Jerry had to be restrained from picking Manziel during the draft

At the time though as a 2nd first Round pick it may have been worth it. Hindsight makes you happy, Stevie did that.

Stevie has stuck to his guns on way to build it, taught by Jerry.

The only 2 picks that I hated were the Greg Ellis and Marion Barber picks

Could've should've had Moss and SJax with those picks.

I know as the second pick for the Cowboys that year they wanted back in

They had already taken Martin earlier.

Cleveland traded with Philly to get Manziel.

This is not the place to get good discussion on Dak.

LSU fans don't really like it when Louisianians go away and come back and win in Death Valley.

Statistically, Dak was a top ten QB in conference history. Maybe better. He also did it at MSU which probably had the worst QB history in the country before him.

It will be easier for LSU fans to talk about dak after we get roflstomped in Death Valley this year.

Before last season I would have laughed at the possibility of Dak being a good pro.

After seeing all the improvements he made, from decision making to passing accuracy on deep balls to keeping his eyes downfield when scrambling. I think he could make it.

Dak has a wallet with "bad motherfricker" burned into it. He will be pretty good. Already faced NFL defenses between LSU and Bama.
