Yeah, Dak is a great NFL QB and has set the bar tonight for all future performances by preseason QBs.

You must be a JR fan. I remember fans predicting that JR would be an All Pro within three or four years of the draft.

I've never been a Dak fan but since he is from Louisiana, I wish him well.
Wonder why he never attended LSU, wouldn't Miles promise him an opportunity to play QB? He promised Shepherd.

LSU didn't really begin recruiting him until the end. State and Mullen were on Dak early, so he stayed loyal to them. TCU was on him also, so it actually came down to State and TCU. LSU offered late, but Dak said no thanks.

Let's see how he plays in a real game against a D that's had all week to scout him first. Right now he's a great preseason QB.

BUT, if he played for the Saints...

Saints fans...

Dak's performance last night made Les Miles look bad again, because Miles ignoring North Louisiana for too long.

Truth. Dak was offered by LSU late in the game but he stayed loyal to Mullen.

This is not the place to get good discussion on Dak.

LSU fans don't really like it when Louisianians go away and come back and win in Death Valley.

Pretty sure more LSU fans saying good things about him than bad.

They recruited Dak. He said he never grew up an LSU fan. So when LSU offered he just stuck with State. I wish more kids would stick to their commitment like he did. And it is Shepard.

LSU just dropped the ball, got in on his recruitment too late

Probably worked out for the best, that offense fitted him perfectly, I don't see him developing like he did if he's at LSU.

No. He wasn't even that good of a college QB and has absolutely no accuracy on his passes. Expect him to be out of the league in 3-4 years

This year?

That's a bold statement but I'll say you're not alone. I looked up a Cowboy forum this morning & some of their fans were saying they want some excitement that Romo doesn't bring. They think Romo will never bring them a championship & even they Jerry & the coaches realize this.

I'm really surprised how well he has transitioned from the shotgun to being under center. Hope he continues to progress over the next couple of years and gets a chance as the starter one day.

They should keep him though. They have to bring Dak along. its a delicate matter. the NFC east is not terrific. they can make the playoffs just by being Ok.
