Parish threads are always a riot... but this one is unique. Y'all let an alter start and take this bitch 4 pages. Lol.

No, actually, this sums up the LSU fan base perectly. Bitch for years that we don't have something great to be proud of, then when we do, you fricking hate on it

So Andrew will sell Parish, then move to Bama and open a brewery that consistently produces beers that are superior to those made in LA?? And LA peeps will bitch and moan about how Parish is just making beer with "Andrews talent?"

I don't know enough about the process of making beer to say what imagination Parish used or didn't use in creating OV. I agree that GitM, OV, and Envie are all in the same family. It's definitely a lighter GitM, but I think it tastes slightly different....more grapefruity/pineapply than the orangey GitM. OV has less body to it. If Envie was changed to be a "baby ghost," then OV is GitM's "little brother," or "junior" maybe. Isn't that what OV was billed as? As being somewhere in between Envie and Ghost? It definity is, I think it leans closer to Ghost. I like all three, but Envie is my favorite.

Now there were a couple who were being a little hyper critical of Parish and they always appear when a Parish beer thread is started.

Which doesn't make much sense. They make the best hoppy beer in the state and maybe even in the southeast region with their three offerings now. Hard crowd around here.

I'm not being hyper critical of Parish. I'm calling a spade a spade.

If you went to McDonalds and ordered a Quarterpounder, but you got the box and there was a Big Mac in it, you'd be pissed. Even if you like Big Macs.

If Andrew were running McDonalds, all we'd get were Big Macs, some with 3 patties, some with 2 patties, some with just one.

He runs his brewery like every other Cajun owned business down here, don't know why anyone would be surprised. He needs to hire better people. At the very least start focusing on customer service instead of treating everyone that walks in the door like he's doing them a favor by taking their money.

Similar or not, I enjoy Parish's flavor profile. The more access to them, the better.

OK, i was trying to help you out earlier, and say that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Which they are. But yours is quite frankly, silly.

Everyone with a difference of opinion is Trolling.
Everyone with a low post count is an Alter.
You guys are paranoid.

For what it's worth, I LOVE Ghost.
I just think that Parish - as a business - sucks.

Parish thread always brings out the best in this board.
Most of the regulars here will get pretty defensive about Parish and can't really comprehend when someone has a differing opinion.
