It'd be a losing business idea but I really want to open a restaurant where the food, decor, and name of the restaurant are all conflicting. Something like a Jewish Deli named "Los Amigos" that's decorated like a Chinese buffet.

Vietnamese that isnt on Florida Blvd

I dont think some ethnic stuff we dont have would work. BR doesnt seem like an adventurous eating town. Not seem, it isnt.

Curious what you think is good Indian. Can you name a place somewhat nearby? I think Curry N Kebab is great. The others are ok. Bay Leaf is good as well I just find it expensive and stuffy inside with the tablecloths and formal atmosphere.

I assume the real Mexican places being mentioned are places like La Reyna (technically Honduran, though), El Tio, Mi Pueblito and La Tiendita. Is Pueblito open any more?

Between La Reyna and La Salvadoreña, I'd say Baton Rouge is doing pretty well for its size on the Central American front.
