I'd like this deal more if they threw in Stauskas or Covington.. but I'd go for it

I'm sure you would but we are probably getting the better end of this deal without them.

I'd be shocked if the GM who burned a first to bring in Asik will essentially burn another to move him.

While Asik needs to learn how to catch the ball, not get his dunks blocked, and get healthy. His contract is not nearly as bad since It being inflated because of the future salary cap. His percentage of the cap is going to drastically decrease over the next two years.

Yes. Easily. I would do the deal straight up but if I'm Dell I'm starting with either take Asik too or later 1st round pick and hope Philly bites on one of those deals.

I mean who are we getting at #6 that is a better fit and as talented as Okafor.

Literally Hield or Dunn are great fits for a team with limited shooting or wing length...

What the hell is wrong with them, the 76ers truly baffle me. Instead of counting on a sure thing with Okafor, they want to roll with Embiid.

Completely agree. Bunch of idiots. I would probably do that trade though cuz I'm big on Okafor.

I'd take Okafor for #6. More of a classical center type, don't know how that would mesh with Gentry but JO can play. Defense would be an issue but that's something that comes with time for these young guys. We can't have Asik in our starting 5 if we want to have success. Hell, we shouldn't even have him on our team.

I think Okafor better for us than anyone that will be there at 6 and he'd definitely be top 3 talent wise in this draft. Hell, he's only 20. He would probably go #2 in this draft.

Hell yes I would. Night and day from Asik.

okafor and noel can't exist. it just did not work.

AD is obviously a vastly superior player to noel, esp on offense. there are still questions if AD/Okafor could work

if gentry could incorporate the hi/lo post game into his offense, i'd take the risk

We'd be retarded not to do that.

Okafor and AD both from Chicago. They'll fit just fine

AD and Okafor both young would be great, you have a superstar and a guy who could become an All-Star next to him. If another player steps up they could move into a top 4 seed in the West.

They take Asik and Reke too and we can talk.

Is that even remotely realistic though? I realize you're probably just saying what your asking price would be. But if there's any way we can dump those two for Okafor, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I don't think it's realistic, but they'd have to at least take Asik for ME to do it. I can dump or stretch Evans in a separate deal if I have to, or just let him expire and hit 2017 FA hard

To me, it would depend on how bad Philly likes the guard on the board at 6 and what other options they have. But let's say they love Dunn and he is there. Pels say take it or leave it, I think they would take it over going into the season with Saric, Simmons, Embid, Noel, and Okafor all needing to get minutes at the 4 and 5. Not like they are gonna need that 10 mil in cap space - nobody is signing there.

So, not very likely, but possible

I'm not a big college basketball fan so I'm not the most familiar with the prospects but why isn't a Jamal Murray as highly regarded as Dunn despite the age difference? Also is he a prospect that Philly would covet?

Murray is projected to go 3-6 in every mock. Dunn is projected to go 3-6 in every mock. It's just a need and for preference for teams

Do you know if Dell had any interest in Etwaun Moore at the deadline. I think he could be a decent low key signing and supposedly Chicago received several calls about him.

Oh ok. It's just on this board I see a lot if clamoring for Dunn, Hield, and even Luwawu from one person and I might have assumed that was the same pulse as the rest of the league.
