Many of the songs feel like Nude from In Rainbows. It's a good song but I'd wish the album was a little more dynamic and had more changes of pace. Burn the Witch is awesome, but the rest of the album is pretty slow.

I did the iTunes 2 minute samples, and I hate to say I want none of this.

In 2013, Yorke and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich pulled their music from Spotify in protest of the streaming service's business model. “The reason is that new artists get paid frick all with this model. In an interview, Yorke called Spotify “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse.”

I don't really get why we needed another version of True Love Waits. I'd love for them to give a solid try to Big Boots, but maybe they're completely over that one.

Very pretty album from start to finish. The depth is unparalleled by most music made today, so many layers of music on top of each other. Of the 5 stages of Grief, I would say this album is the sad acceptance of the way things are, but with shimmers of hope that humanity can still change. Not one song gets my excited or lifts me up, but none of the songs are supposed to do that. Like I said, very pretty album, but what Radiohead made, the emotions they convey (and they do a fantastic job of that), is not why I generally listen to music.

ETA: I really felt like I was wondering around in a dream of PTA that he used as the basis for a film with zero dialogue.

Yeah, I'm still not sure on this one. I bought KOL limited LP with newspaper. The packaging and everything was cool, but I never spin it. I'm still trying to decide if this is worth the purchase.

Radiohead offers fans an interesting experience. On one hand, they are creative enough to consistently give fans a new experience. That is, each album takes on a different feel than the previous one. While I can appreciate the creativity and willingness to try new things, it's hard to please everyone when each new project has an unique vibe. I don't feel like there are any weak tracks per se, but there's also not many stand outs.

I like this album a lot. It's slower than what I expected and hoped for, but I think it's very well done and pleasant sounding. It's not something I envision playing a ton, but I really like how straightforward the lyrics are and how cohesively the songs fit together. It reminds me most of In Rainbows, but it lacks tracks like 15 Step and Bodysnatchers to break up the monotony of the slower songs.

Its a slow album for sure.

I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, I do wish it had some faster paced stuff.

I'm kind of disappointed upon first listen.
