Kenneth Shupe said he was called to pick up a woman stranded on I-26 in Asheville on Monday. When he saw “a bunch of Bernie Sanders stuff” he said he told the woman, “very politely,” that he could’t tow her car because she was “obviously a socialist” and advised her to “call the government” for a tow.

Well, that's his right as a business owner.
Though I think you should put politics aside when it comes to your personal bottom line. Press doesn't like this kind of stuff and you get bad internet press and some good local attention, problem is that internet bad press is there for a long time.

Tow truck drivers...yuck..they get a hard on every time some Denny's franchise owner calls them to tow a car out of their half-empty parking lot.
Someone stole my car once, and I had to pay $200 to get it out of the tow yard. Thanks, guys!

I'm a proud conservative and very anti-Bernie myself, but that's a douche move by the tow driver.
