Just wondering what is the OB's favorite/go to bait when fishing for redfish. I personally like the H&H spinner with 1/4oz jig head and the avocado with the red tail plastic minnow.

The gold spoon.... I have some that are hammered, looks like a golf ball on the surface. Kill them in Reggio and Delacroix on this. The green trout like them too

3/4 oz. gold spoon. Easier to cast and you can throw it into the wing, and the larger size doesn't stop the bite or the hookup like many people claim. No trebles though. I used to throw the hell out of those things - even when they were piled up in a deep dead end canal and biting on dead shrimp, I'd still have to make some throws at them with the spoon "just because." I just like throwing the thing.

I personally have been absolutely slaying the reds on a Ginger Avenger Inline Spinner, it's been my go to bait lately. Reds just swallow that thing! I may or may not be able to hook you up with one in exchange for an OB koozie

I like a spoon if blindly casting, although those frickers always seem to break when hooked up. When sight fishing I'm using a slayer or matrix paddle tail rigged on an 4/0 owner beast hook.
