Beautiful watch but I'm too much of a cheap basted to spend that much on a watch. I usually buy Seiko or Citizen watches that last me 8 to 10 years.

Here's the over $10k original, maybe they are a bit off on the bezel size.'

It's as comically large as a Mexican weathercaster's boobs.

It's a 41 mm watch. My current watch is a 40, which I think is s modern sized watch.

Helson makes a good watch. I prefer the shark diver or buccaneer to the skin diver. About 5 years I was buying boutique divers and had maybe 6 benarus watches. If you haven't checked them out, I prefer the moray to the look of any of the helsons.

Strange that both wrist shots are on the right arm. I just picked the clearest photos.

Replace 'Helson' with 'Timex' and you wouldn't even notice a difference.

Really, this doesn't look more detail oriented than a Timex?

Sapphire domed crystal and sapphire bezel.

it's a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms homage,

Is it?

I am not being pissy, I just think I have a new watch to lust after. I've never seen much from Blancpain that fit my eye. Until now.

Is this watch a brand in its own right? I've not heard of it.

I think it's still Blancpain. Their 60th anniversary Fifty Fathoms Bathyscape watch is the one I want.

They sell both the original Fifty and the more modern Bathyscaphe.

Looks very similar to the Breitling Superocean Heritage I've got my eye on. Nice looking watch.

I like it, but I'd just as soon as get a Yobokies 50 FF heritage off ebay for $450.

What's with all the hard ons for watches that look like something fossil produced in the 90's?
