Was seated pretty high in the south end zone with the wife. We had binoculars, but couldn't decide what part of the fight to watch.

At least two of the local Baton Rouge TV stations had ground-level video of the fight, which they aired on the sports portions of the news. They had a lot more fight action in their clips... nice close-ups.
I had all of that on VHS, but Katrina killed all of my tapes.

Yes, that's right. I remember the news clips being substantially closer-up and more graphic. I'm still surprised at how elusive footage of this event has been.
I will say it seems like the fight lasted way shorter of a time than my memory had it.
2 things that I don't think any video will ever show:
1)Arnsparger retaining Wickersham over by him on the bench during the fight
2)You can actually hear the crowd cheer loudly after the fight is broken up. This is because Dalton Hilliard sprinted from the south endzone all the way towards the Tiger lockerroom, and as he approached the north endzone, he started jumping up and excitedly punching his fist in the air. The students' section went wild as he disappeared into the tunnel.
