If Lawson is gone I wouldn't mind a trade down a few spots. We need help in a few areas.

after listening to Paytons presser, I still think its a front 7 guy.
Spence, Lawson or Rankins are my 3 guys as of now.

It would look like a classic Loomis filing the holes to be go full BPA in the draft. For the unexpected I always give the team the benefit of the doubt. Deuce and Will Smith were among the best ever 1st Rd picks at positions that were closer to No Need.
All arrows do point to a dynamic pass rusher IMO. I'm on the Shaq Lawson bandwagon but quite a few teams have him red flagged for medical. Plenty of others I like but not so much at #12.
Considering past history I would not be surprised to see them move up for Bosa or Buckner if they dropped any from their big board.
For reference I looked-
#12 + #47 gets ya close to #5
#12 + #78 = #8

Sean also said safety is a need. Reggie Nelson and Dashon Goldson are still available in FA...
Not sure what asking prices are but Nelson had 8 picks last year.

I really want a passrusher obviously. Rankins on the inside, Spence on the Edge, etc.
A Lawson/Butler first two rounds added to the additions of Fairley, Robertson, JL would be legit as frick. Whole new front 7.

It's hard to not be impressed when watching Treadwell's highlights. Very strong hands and is also strong bodied. Also a hell of a blocker. He just rips the ball from DB's hands. Warming up to him at 13 if he's the BPA
