How do you check the sensors and determine if aligned, good, bad?

Youtube it, but I know mine had a little light on the side. When it was getting the signal from the other sensor, it lit up and let you know it was aligned.

The door on my wife's bay of the garage does this every once in a while and our sensors are definitely aligned. There's just something screwed up with the logic in hers. You have to hold down the button on the wall and it will go down and "reset" then work fine for a few weeks. Then all of a sudden it will start acting up again. Do the fix once and you are good for a while. Too lazy to actually call someone to figure it out . Plus it's her side of the garage, so who cares.

Most have lights on them to indicate if the beam has been "broken" from one side to the other.
