Looking to put a new tv in our bedroom. I've been looking at 48" Samsungs. Anyone got any recommendation? The one I have been looking at is just a standard 1080p HD TV.

Saw a stack of 50 inch 4K Samsungs this morning at Walmart for $695. Haven't been looking but it seemed like a good deal.

What's the wife/SO like to watch?

Possibly I can make her dreams her reality.

No complaints about our Samsung. We've got the smart version and I highly recommend that. Lots of "non traditional" viewing options out there to the point that we rarely watch actual cable.

As far as brands go, Samsung is great. Toshiba is high quality with fewer features.

Always buy one of the three S's

Unless it's a Mitsubishi but I doubt you can afford it

The Vizio M series is one of the best rated 4K tv out. Just make sure it is 120 MHz.

Got a Samsung in the bedroom and Vizios everywhere else.

I prefer the Vizio. Samsung in the bedroom is slow to get to Netflix and Amazon Prime. It bugs the mess out of me. I also like the picture on Vizio's better.

Lightning struck my Panasonic this past Thursday. I went to storage & got my old 42 inch Vizio. I bought it in 05' I think so it's close to 12 years old but I think I like this better than the newer Panasonic I've been using.

TVs are disposable in 2016. If you end up not liking it, just get something else and move that one to some lesser room.
