re: ESPN likes LSU as a national champion favorite. Reasons:

*outstanding running game, with not just Fournette but Guice-absolutely

*passing game was actually better than it appeared -against lesser teams. Horrible in Nov.

Lsu was 25th in total QBR last year -See above comment

*offensive line has a lot of depth -THey were not talented though. Unless they have improved two fold...

*defensive line is loaded -OK but not "loaded"
*maybe the best secondary in the country -Could be. Ours will be excellent as well.

*special teams last year were worst since 2006 - predict that they will return to the norm for a Miles-coached team =pure speculation. Not one single shred of evidence that this has improved. He just "figures" it will.
