I have no idea what it is about the aussie roommate, but I find her funny.

That show was one of those shows that had enough to get you to watch the next episode, but only because you thought it might get good at some point. Never was it actually good. Then you get to the end, and you realize they just stole part of your life.

The nerdy guy is supposed to be the likeable one I guess, but half way through I absolutely hated him. Every time he's with a girl (at&t, sisters, Britta, cousin-witch) I'm screaming "this is impossible" in my head.

Also, I kinda thought the show ended at sort of a buzzkill. There really are people with love and sex addictions. I was kind of impressed that they weren't going to get together right away, and she's take the time she needs to get herself right before getting into a relationship. And then all the sudden boom they just toss all that out.

Idk how her growth is gonna be believable (assuming she does grow in the second season as no way she could continue to be this birch forever) if she just jumps right back into a relationship. I guess they're gonna go with the "Gus is such a nice guy he cures her" storyline, but people who truly do have sex or love addictions rarely heal themselves through others.

Not to be critical, but I think you missed the point. They just tossed it all out because that's absolutely believable. Mickey is fricked up. She has massive dependency issues. She is an addict. Yes, she recognizes the problem, but that doesn't mean she is ready to take the next steps to actually ADDRESS the problem. And in his current state where Gus feels like he has been utterly emasculated and lost everything, he's looking for something to anchor onto. Mickey appears, she is a known quantity, he knows she is reachable, so he grabs on to her.

I don't think season 2 is going to be about her being magically cured of her problems because of Gus -- in fact, I don't think anything could be less likely. I think it's going to maybe have an episode where they are "good" but clearly unhealthy, then begin a downward spiral before it all just blows up in their faces.

Pretty much how I felt. Very similar to season 1 of Orange is the New Black

Just finished it, can't decide what I think. I usually like Apatow's shows, but so many of the characters on this show were borderline characatures to an absurd extreme. Gus was just so damn dorky. The Aussie was the bubbliest nicest person ever. Heidi is an absolute OT 9.5, and she's sleeping with the mega-dork? And Miki was like the most dispicable person on the planet. I thought the actress playing Miki was awesome, but I didn't believe a lot of the other characters. Also, I kinda thought the show ended at sort of a buzzkill. +1

I've had two ex girlfriends like that so i kept watching. Then I was almost done with it...but more Briga... had to watch the rest. Like some have said, the lead guy was miscasted, the huge nose and glasses are awful. Cera would be a great fit but any dork would have done.

I just finished the first episode. It was kinda slow and I'm not sure if I like it yet or not. I'll probably continue to watch since its only 10 episodes.

Just binge watched the show over the last few days and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Went to RT and did not expect an 87% fresh rating, figured it would be about 50/50.

The show was picked up quickly for an expanded 12 episode second season.

I laughed a few times more than I thought I would, had some really funny moments.

I'm in for season 2.

Did I see the AT&T chick in the trailer? If she's getting naked I am in.

I'd be fine if they took this approach.

I have watched the new season and it was OK. I am watching this show hoping that I get drawn in by it though its still just barely entertaining enough for me to keep watching. It somewhat triggers my "rightist" nature but still I keep watching

The trailer alone was nails on a chalkboard, typical for anything Judd Apatow does really.

Hold up...is this board so dense that they decide they hate this guy because of Girls and Funny People?

He gave us, or was a part in making:

Celtic Pride
Heavy Weights
The Cable Guy
Freaks and Geeks
The Larry Sanders Show
Anchorman
40 Year Old Virgin
Talladega Nights
Knocked Up
Superbad
Step Brothers
Walk Hard
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Step Brothers
Pineapple Express
Get Him to the Greek (underrated)
Bridesmaids
Wanderlust (underrated)
The Big Sick

I am just starting the third season. I don't like Mickey. She is fu%ked up.

Gus is OK but the dude seriously sabotages himself every time he gets a career opportunity.

I will continue to watch to get closure.

By the end, I liked Mickey more than Gus. Even though both characters have their ups and downs.

Gus has a lot of passive aggressive qualities that are pretty annoying.

This is pretty much why I finished watching it, now I wonder why I watched at all. I don’t really have a positive or negative view of the show, just that it seemed to be a waste of time.
