Dead pool is a fox property right?
So what's stopping them from creating an FX cartoon Deadpool? Bring in some archer writers and some Deadpool writers to collab and hell maybe Ryan Reynolds will agree to voice it

Only if he invades Archer.

Fox owns the movie rights to Deadpool, X-men, etc. Marvel owns the tv rights still.

Saw it the other day and honestly I have not laughed harder at a movie in the theatre in a very long time.
It was damn near perfect for me. Just a little short.

Oops. The grammar was off as well. At least I capitalized my mistake.

I'm not a comic book reader. I love comic book movies. I like Ryan Reynolds in just about every movie hes been in. I knew what kind of movie this was going to be.
Thought this movie was kinda terrible. Definitely had many funny one liners and that was Stan's best cameo. Movie was just pointless. Had no story whatsoever, and that's why I personally like comic book movies, which is why I didn't like this.
Probably won't watch it again, and i would not see a sequel if made.
If you want to call this a comic book movie, it wouldn't crack my top 25. I'd rather watch Reynolds in his green lantern movie personally.
And to the idiots that brought the 10 year old, you fail as a parent.

You're obviously entitled to your own opinion and all, but...
This makes me not take your whole post seriously

Yes he did. And he also voiced him on the Hulk vs Wolverine animated movie and in my opinion, stole the show.

Saw it yesterday and enjoyed it my only question is did xmen days of future past wipe out the whole shite show that was wolverine origins dead pool?

Had to have, right?
Thay deadpool had way different origin story.

To each his own I guess. But I never understood the criticism that a movie is "pointless." Practically all movies are pointless, they're for entertainment. Of course it had a story. it wasn't a complicated story and you didn't like it, but it was there. A lot of great movie have very simple stories.

This Deadpool knows he is in a movie so he pokes fun at that Deadpool.

Thankfully. You know, Ryan Reynolds is clearly a fan of the character. And look how good it is. That's all it takes. He even tosses in a perfect Collossus for good measure.
The characters are already created, the stories are written, just be faithful to the source. I don't know why that's so hard to comprehend for directors. If you're not a comic fan and don't respect the character, then don't make the movie. There was no reason for the Wolverine movie to butcher deadpools character like that.

The early iterations of Deadpool, from New Mutants #98 (1st comic appearance) in 91 till around 97 were of that type of Deadpool. Then in 97, Joe Kelly took Deadpool and made him the way he is now in his own series.
*disclaimer - I had to look up the dates, but did collect back until 94 or so. So I didn't know the movie or current version.

Maybe you're confusing Wade Wilson, the sword-wielding, bullet-dodging smart arse private soldier from the beginning of that movie with "weapon 11," the 3 foot swords for claws, laser eye beam wielding, mouth sewn shut joke that was supposed to be Deadpool at the end. There was never a "that version of Deadpool" in the comics.

True, true.... Guess I was getting at he wasn't really created the way he is now in his first "go around".

Fair enough, but this is the version most people are familiar with and the version that made him popular.
That ridiculous wolverine monster thing was ridiculous.
