I don't know how to find that info via NBA.com and the like. I could have sworn that Joel said something like 15mpg last week, but I don't remember the exact number.

If so, that's the biggest misstep in Gentry's awful Pels debut. They're obviously the future of this team. Even if it were obviously 100% better for the team right now to stagger them, Jrue needs to be playing all of his current 26mpg with AD. Get them developing their chemistry.

Also, our fans and professional "experts" across the nation need to GTFO with the whole "Pels need to package a pick or Jrue to dump Asik ASAP" bullshite. Asik has been solid for going on a month now. He's not worth his contract right now, but in a year or two it won't be that bad at all. If you can dump him easily, go for it. But don't trade anything of significant value to do it.

He's worth his contract when you realize we couldn't use that money to sign anyone else anyway.

People don't understand that this isn't the nfl, the money we give to asik doesn't mean we could go out and just slap it on anyone we wanted.

If i'm reading it right, they play about 18mpg together.

19MPG since January 1, which is the same as Anderson/Davis. Holiday/Anderson/Davis is the best trio for the Pels and is only at 15 MPG since 1/1. Another potent trio is Jrue/Evans/Davis- only 9MPG (tons of injury noise) on the season. Compare to the Warriors Steph/Klay/Dray at 25MPG. I don't know if the Pels can really increase that number by a ton as long as Holiday/Anderson are coming off the bench. If they are not trying to tank, they likely need to try starting those guys and then staggering minutes- pulling one out early a la Dirk. Though, I doubt Gentry can handle that.

His $$ may be reasonable under the spike, but that doesn't mean his contract is a good value. Years, age/skills, and roster fit make it a troublesome deal. And the rub is this summer- with AA/Asik on the books for 3 more years, will they be reticent to bring Anderson, a superior player, back and commit roughly half their cap to this 4 man big rotation for the foreseeable future?

Certainly not. Besides, I doubt Holiday (injury/UFA in a year) or Anderson (injury/UFA) would be enough for an Asik dump. If Demps trades the first this year, I'll be pissed. If he does it as part of an Asik dump, I'll go into a coma.
