I figured it'd be best to stick with one LSU rugby thread rather than make a new one each week.

LSU moves to 5-0 (2-0 in conference) on the season with a 34-0 win over the Texas Longhorns.

This team has been extremely impressive to date and has outscored it's opponents 257-29. LSU currently sits at #17 in the polls and will likely move up after this win.

LSU will look to continue their run at home against conference leader Oklahoma next Saturday (2/20) at home. This match will be LSU's first real test of the season so it's sure to be a good one.

2/20 Oklahoma(4-0) v LSU (2-0)
Game will be played at the LSU SAC Fields on Gourrier just past Alex Box Stadium towards the levee.

yea I got a group of girl scouts that can out play LSU Rugby. They are the softest group of players since the 1994 season. Pathetic

I was out there watching. LSU needs better scrumhalf service. I know Wes isn't normally a #9. Is there someone else who can play 9 and Wes can get into the centers? Also the LSU forwards are going to need to be fitter to make a playoff run.

The Tigers look to go to 7-0 for the season when they face Texas Tech this weekend. In order to ease travel, the game will be played in Dallas at TCU's field.

So far this season LSU has had an average margin of victory of 43 points, and no team has come within 31 points. A blowout win is expected against Texas Tech but as long as the Tigers can get a win and stay healthy this trip will be a success. This is a potential trap game with a trip to long time rivals Texas A&M coming up on the schedule.

What does our ranking mean? This isn't an NCAA-sanctioned sport, right? So who does the rankings?
