Not defensive, just never understood why people feel the need to complain about something, especially a beta. If you don't want to play/buy it then don't, why even comment on it?
I tried Eve Online, hated it, and moved on...I didn't go specifically looking for threads/forums about Eve to complain about it. It's like arguing about politics/religion...you won't convince the ones who have their mind already set.

So everyone can have an opinion as long as it's the same as you?

The game definitely doesn't suck, but going from Destiny to this, even though Destiny is an FPS is a hassle.
The whole shooting and gun design is miles better in Destiny and I'm kind of disappointed in the Division's design. Regardless, I think that's because I've been playing Destiny for so long.

Did you actually play the game?

No. They ran out of beta keys...
But I've watched a few hours of livestreams and reviews on the beta from people I trust.

literally all i said was that it was disappointing to hear that it is that group driven in the dark zone...was hoping you could go in and solo some
i havent even played the game, hence the reason i am reading some reviews
good lord man, pull the banana out of your arse

Its the beta, they have about 1/2 the amount of people in a regular server on a map that's only 1/4 of the size it will be once the game comes out. You can play solo. I've done it numerous times and was able to get loot out without a problem. They had a group of 4 rogues and 1 of them got separated from the other 3 so I killed him, and started running to an extraction point across the map. Its really fun and engaging for a beta with literally most of the good stuff not currently available.
Like ANY game that's multiplayer, its more fun with multiple people because you feel more secure. But the uneasiness of playing by yourself in the DZ adds another level of excitement and nervousness. Its really a game where you need to try it to see if its for you or not.

I've been playing solo in the DZ, and I've had a great time. I managed to accumulate more than enough DZ currency to buy the 2 yellow weapons from the safe house. My primary DPS is 4214, health is 4499, and skill power is 1050. Playing solo in the DZ is definitely viable. You just have to be a little more careful about what fights you pick.
eta: I actually hope the retail version of the DZ is just as populated. My favorite part is hunting rogues. When I can't find any, I usually end up getting bored and going rogue myself.

Which is why I replied to you saying that if you act like an idiot soloing in the Dark Zone then, yea, you're going to have a bad time. You can solo the DZ; it's not hard to do and in the final release it will be easier with the large scale map and good strategy but the game is pretty blunt in saying you probably need to run with a group (which doesn't even need to be friends that play; I am on PC and found groups using the100.io).
I was more commenting back to Devious about saying the game is terrible without even playing it. I never said you can't have an opinion but the misinformation is ridiculous.

You are better than this.

He's really not.
Got to mess around in the dark zone. It wasn't all bad actually.

Guys I am on ps4 and have not a damn clue what to do at extraction points, no clue how to make them begin or what everyone is doing putting stuff on that line or even how to do it. Can anyone give me a clue?

They've extended beta till Tuesday Feb 12 6am EST.
I like what I've seen so far. I was surprised by the lockdown of the skill trees and most of the map though. You'd think they'd want heavy testing of that for game balance.
I wonder if they will have an open beta in the next couple weeks with more things enabled like crafting.
Release date is in a month and would think this build would be closer to gold code.

One thing is for sure. I will be so happy when the full game comes out and he DZ opens up. The guys that go rogue, steal my shite and run out of bounds was starting to piss me off. They spawn in the safehouse and wait the rogue timer out. To get your shite back, you've got to go rogue yourself.
i heard some people were using a glitch that would put them above the map so they could snipe down on people. I had a few instances where I was getting shot and could not see where it was coming from that leads me to believe the glitch is true.
Has anyone heard/read anything about our ranks/levels and weapons resetting on full release? I hate to think we've got to do all the "training" over again. We spammed the shite out of the hospital mission (hard) to get our ranks up.

I haven't heard about that but tonight I became invisible. When your group goes out of bounds and end up in the safe house there's a glitch where you can turn invisible. A couple of times before that I got killed out of nowhere by nothing so I'm assuming that's what that was. It shouldn't be an issue once the game comes out because the only way to access's the glitch is to go out of bounds and there won't be an out of bounds in the full released game.
And yes, you will have to rank back up but there will be a lot more missions and stuff to help that out. We maxed out the levels on the first day.

1. Get loot from A.I. or players.
2. Go to extraction point.
3. Hold square down to call in the helicopter.
4. Wait for helicopter and stay alive.
5. When the helicopter drops the rope, go up to it and hold square down until you are finished putting loot onto rope.
6. Profit

I have a question about this because Gardoki and I hunted down a rogue agent and I picked up some stuff he dropped, so at some point we wanted to extract. When the line dropped, it didn't give me a prompt to attach my items, but I was certain that I had picked them up. Can you actually pick up non-infected loot in the DZ? Dok might have said so last night but I was still laughing at my wife's observation that jeans were impractical in a post apocalyptic world in terms of mobility.
But yeah, this game is money. You guys scared me about going into the DZ, but I could have done that for hours. A really tricky thing is attacking rogue agents, because a couple of times last night after we killed the target, we'd see another guy who had a red health bar, so we just assumed he was another renegade. Instead of being heros, we went rogue ourselves. It's really fun when your waiting for an extraction and your partner has a trigger finger and decides to put a few bullets into an innocent bystander, then said partner books it out of there before you realize what's going on.........and you're basically rogue by association, so all of the agents you were cool with at first are all of the sudden assholes....

You tell that story from a different point of view than me

Your viewpoint is going to be different when you're two blocks away.
