Didn't LSU finish 7th in total offense in the SEC in 2013 with Mett, Hill, Landry, Beckham, all experienced and in their final year at LSU. Also had Wright, Shepard, and Boone. Wasn't Tre Turner on that team as well? How is it even possible to finish 7th out of 14 teams with that kind of talent?

1. Because our defense was terrible and we tried to keep them off the field as much as possible.
2. Landry, Beckham, Hill, and Turner were not in their final season of eligibility.
3. Four of the Top Five Offenses of the last three years were from 2013.

Stop fooling yourself, that was the greatest offense to ever play in the college ranks.

Tempo is the clear answer in this particular case. It's like comparing basketball teams with different styles. Total yards is a very elementary way of viewing things.
