actually we have. when we played Georgia tech in the bowl game, les hired a triple option guru to come and coach his defense how to defend it.

it's when les was new to LSU. he seems to become less enthusiastic in his job. imo, the events of this year has reenergized him (at least I hope).

Our previous offensive play against awful defenses suggests your B is wrong

How many defense did we face that were ranked 126 out of 127?

how gullible are you? Miles threw that bait out there and you are lapping it up hook, line, and sinker

The game was 4 days ago and our new DC was hired yesterday. We have the entire offseason ahead of us and anything could happen. It's more evidence than we've had before..just sayin.

Believe what you want, but this was a typical Les response to the media to get people off his back. Just like he said for 7 straight weeks last year that he expected Brandon Harris to get some reps in the upcoming game.

The only reason Cam was on the sideline was because Harris requested it. Kinda ridiculous that that was the reason why he was down there. Should have been down on the sideline since he got here.

I can see where battling cancer might not allow you to stand for 4 hours out there. Just a hunch though, never went through it, but the family members that have had zero energy.

Better late than never, I guess.

Just the fact that these two hold-overs from archaic 1950's football are finally learning about the "spread offense" (that has been around since Rusty Russell in 1927) is a justifiably fireable offense.

Really? How do you know there wasn't any other reason? Cam was on the field for his previous coaching stints, and he even said himself his health was making it hard to coach from the field. Stop spewing lies/half-truths, and inform yourself.

And LSU appropriately dominated them.

It's not an issue of playing a weak opponent; it has been playing down to and struggling against weaker opponents.

That is what was encouraging.

CLM was quoted in The Advocate the next day as saying he had asked Cameron to come down to the sidelines either pre season or early in the season but Cam had turned him down to concerns over his health. Good Lord. People take every chance they get to rip CLM.

Ur gonna have to come with some facts on that one buddy. NFL OC's are mostly on the sidelines. 75 to 25 in college.

How about you support your 75/25 stat? I'll help you. You can't.

However, even if you accept that %, it proves my point. It's not absurd that an OC is not on the sidelines when 25% coach from the booth. That's a significant percentage (and it's much higher than 25%)

Wow, the downvotes

I legit didn't know. We were packing for a road trip that night and could only watch bits and pieces of the game.

Honest question here, but I didnt see Cam sitting with Harris when we didnt have the ball. Harris was sitting off by those big boxes as usual (at least what I saw on TV). Did anyone see something differently?

I was at the game and up high so I couldn't see, but if you watch the raw highlights you can see them chest bump after Harris's TD run. It's something.

A bit of an over exaggeration. Defense is horrible but they had one of the best offenses in football

I saw Cam walk over to talk to him a few times when he was sitting by himself...mostly in the first half

I figure the positive outcome had more to do with the horrible defense we faced (the one that gave up 50+ points for the 6th time). As I said earlier in the week, since Cam is also the QB coach, I think his being on the sidelines is a good thing. But I think him leaving the booth had very little impact on the offensive performance. He could have called the plays from the recliner in his living room and LSU would have run all over Tech.

All of your comments are negative you douche. You just troll positive boards so you can shite all over a good vibe for fans. STFU you clown. Let people enjoy the really good week it's been for the Tigers. After all the November crap that I'm sure you got your rocks off to, you can't clamp your trap for a while when some good news finally comes? You're that douche friend (more like an acquaintance.....doubt you have any friends) that nobody will invite to a party. You don't even have to be drunk for everyone to tell you to GTFO with your negative BS. Quit trolling, get a life and let people be happy for a few weeks. That'll kill you though.

If you're shooting for the Dikhead of the Year Award, you're definitely closing in. You're the type that gets his azz kicked everywhere he goes for running off at the mouth....and cant back it up.
