The offense in '13 was not very different than what we have today. Yes we threw across the middle of the field more but we had an NFL caliber QB to make those throws. Still a lot of gos and streaks, very little screen, and TE involvement. We just didn't care because of the two studs on the outside making plays.

Our receivers do so well in the league because its easier for them to get open in the NFL. They aren't double or triple teamed anymore.

That offense was great until Georgia, I felt like we reigned it in after that shootout.

I think the 2013 offense was very similar to the 2014 offense, just with better players. This season it looks like they have put a lot more emphasis on trying to be less predictable and one dimensional. I

It's just the pace of development of the offense has been very slow, then November came, and it all fell apart. Against aTm, a much easier opponent, they were able to get it going again to some extent.

Harris also limited the amount they could do, but even with him they stuck with it a lot more than in past seasons. 2014 offense didn't even try to be unpredictable or to do anything different until the aTm game when they added the jet sweep and read option (which for LSU seemed like a major step foreward)
