You're now looking at boarder states? Who's really grasping here? Nick is from WV, btw. All 3 of the coaches are as Yankee as they come and did just fine in the Deep South. You made some decent points, but the North/South point wasn't one. Carry on.

It would be a nightmare to have Kelly here, as his personality does not fit AT ALL, and he has ZERO experience in the South.

I don't get the support for Chip Kelly. Sure, he was obviously a good coach in the PAC12, but that shite he runs isn't built to handle SEC defenses.

Well, they're SOUTHern states, so where do you think they'd be recruiting?

Great, WV shares a border with BOTH KY and VA!

Disagree. They might be Yankee, but they had some experiences with the South before truly coaching down here.

The point about Kelly, is that he has NONE!

Decent? DECENT?

Brah, I've been on you like white on rice!

Chip would be fine.

Nick saban coached in the midwest for 25 years before coming to LSU.

Ubran spent 18 of his first 20 seasons in the midwest or west. 2 season at Bowling green.

no experience by either in the deep south.

If you don't think they recruited the deep south hard, then you're kidding yourself.

Exactly. If a poll were taken after the Bama game between the two, Kelly would have easily won. His offense with our athletes would be ridiculous!

yup. Jimbo is quite safe, but Chip would be a grand slam.

Jimbo stats should be good, he is in the ACC. Jimbo is not a upgrade from Les, and his drama is well documented on and off the field. LSU program will become average on a good year with Jimbo at the helm. And as far as developing J. Winston he was better his freshman year than his soph. year, no development with Jimbo.

I never said tons of kids were going there, just that they had more experience recruiting the deep south than Chip.

Kelly's not coming here, never was in play for LSU, so I don't know why y'all would hold a candle for him.

The best move for LSU? Hire a progressive offensive coordinator and shift to the spread offense, which is the way the college games is headed.

This is how you know that the writer doesn't know what he's talking about.

I can read an article that can express an opinion on just about anything.

The fact is Jimbo can coach - and well. He can coach as an assistant, a coordinator, and as a HC.

The coaches surrounding him knows he can coach. The same can't be said of Les for the past several years. That fact can't be denied.

In Les time (pardon the pun) as a HC, he's led his team to a Natty. Period. End of story.

I must have really rocked your world on all the other points for you to be so wrapped around the axle on this one.

Nice to see you're doing some research, finally.
