Bartlett used to be a nice suburb in Memphis, not so much these days.

Bartlett has their own school district and their own cops. They'll be okay.

So don't go there. There is literally nothing there for you and absolutely no reason to be off I-55 there.

The worst parts of any town makes them dangerous.

Seriously. Virden Dition, Georgetown, Queens, WestSide, belvadere, and south side combined don't have shite on Orange Mound alone. Jackson has a lot of pretend/play gangsters. Memphis has real deal killers.

Rich white people are getting kidnapped at gunpoint in Eastover, police officers are getting busted by the FBI for protecting gang members, and people die in Jackson every single day.

Let's not pretend Jackson is Malibu's Most Wanted.

They be banging in Little Rock. Bloods and crips everywhere.

Grew up in LR. The gang problems in Little Rock were pretty much eliminated around 1996. Whats left of the "bangin" is a few little pretend gangsters. There are areas of the city, like anywhere else that are crime ridden and dangerous. That being said, I've been in almost all parts of LR at different times of day, and I felt safer than I have in supposedly nicer parts of Nola.

Still has the usual crime problems of a southern city, but Memphis/Nola are way worse crime wise. Jackson is just awful in general.

What did LR do to eradicate the gang problem? I didn't realize this was back in 1996. That's a long time ago.

No it's true. I grew up in Jackson and up until adulthood I thought it was normal to turn on the local news and see 70% murder stories

Nissan plant is in Madison County. State government is the only thing that Jackson has going for it.
i know what county it is in, but guess what, vast majority of Nissan workers work in Jackson

The goal of most inviduals in Jackson is to work at Comcast or Nissan.

I'm speaking in generalities but you get the picture.

I don't think anyone would take that statement literally.

And it looks like Jackson is on pace to surpass 2014's totals.

Christmas season is coming.

Have you seen the average Jackson police officer. Half of them just walked off the streets of Battlefield and Virden Dition. People die everyday, yes. But not due to murders. jackson is not a bad or dangerous city.
