Brady Quinn blames rash of injuries on HGH, thinks 40-50% of players are on PEDs

"I'm not going to be a whistleblower and I'm not accusing anyone of anything," Quinn said on the “Roughing the Passer” podcast. "(But) there's got to be something these guys are taking. That's what I think at least."
Quinn added that, in his opinion, “40 to 50 percent of guys are taking something” and said that the penalties attached to positive tests aren’t harsh enough to dissuade players from using performance-enhancers.
"If you're a top-of-the-line guy and you're getting $16 million a year — you're getting a million bucks a game — if you get popped for taking something that helps you get that big-time contract or hit that incentive in your contract where you get paid all of the sudden in your contract year, guess what? First (failed test), four-game (suspension)," Quinn said. "Let's talk about financially, 'Am I going to sacrifice $4 million in order for me to get that big contract on the back-end? Yea, I am.'"
He also said that using HGH makes players more susceptible to injury because it gives them a false sense of confidence, thinking they can work through minor injuries rather than resting.
"You could say it's what they're taking, supplements and things that they're putting in their body that are dehydrating their body and making them a little more tight and brittle, those sorts of things," Quinn, who was with the Jets in 2013, said. "Or it could be a matter of overtraining in the offseason, not giving their body enough rest and all of the sudden, they try to come into the season and their ligaments and joints and things have so much wear-and-tear and they haven't received the proper amount of rest and attention they need."

Brady Quinn whines because he sucks.
Matt Leinart whines because he sucks.
Not a good week for below average white NFL quarterbacks.

Brady Quinn is probably right. I think the NFL has a major steroid problem.

NFL QBs are suppose to look like this:

The injuries are due to forcing the defense to go low instead of high. It's a violent sport and if you force guys to hit ball carriers from the waist down, you're going to see a rise in knee injuries.

I say make PEDs legal.

There is nothing Quinn could take to make him good enough.

I'd bet more than 50% are on it. I'd be shocked if it's less.

PEDs should be a requirement and the injuries are out of control because there's only one place to tackle a non quarterback...the legs
Another reason why the NFL sucks a fat AIDS dick

No doubt these guys are roided. Also shows off the field ala Greg Hardy and jay Ratliff.

Brady would be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on PED's. He was suspected as far back as high school.

The "positive test " is misleading. NFL athletes are allowed at certain points of the year (offseason) to have "Under X-amount" of a hormone in their system which is sky high compared to natural numbers. As the season progresses those numbers have to go down as the "allowed amount" maximum goes down.

I'm guessing the PEDs numbers are a lot higher, probably 80% or more.
