same thing happened to a buddy of mine in 2001 except it wasn't a college/frat type of thing.
they beat him down bad and two out of the five where grinning ear-to-ear on the front page of the newspaper in their mugshots. None of them did any time for it either.
My friend did get a huge settlement though but all they got was probably like a year's probation or something.

Hey, some of my best buds were Pikes in college. They did have quite a few meat head guys come to think about it. They sure knew how to party. Also, I recall them roughing up Sigma Chi on a few occasions

Pikes were always the douche bag, meat heads at Ole Miss. Giant lifted trucks that have never left the pavement, pick fights in packs, shave their arms and legs, etc.
This is par for the course.
I can't tell you how many fights I saw involving pikes outnumbering people and throwing cheap shots.

Same shite as Pike's at Arkansas. No one worth a shite pledged there and no one hung out there. They were always trying to pick fights with respectable fraternities, Sigma Chi and KZ which were in close proximity.
Super douche losers that get zero respect and act accordingly. They're basically a west coast "frat" everywhere. They don't even qualify as a fraternity IMO.
