This is his signature team, I'll give you that

Though, even he wouldn't say no to an experienced QB at the middle, Harris still has some growing up to do, it's almost like next year would be his 'perfect' team.

With exception to ST which I think will get fixed we seem to be getting better every week it's a pretty impressive to watch.

the crazy thing is with the class we have coming next year, and the talent we have returning next year, even if LF7 decides to take a year to prepare for the NFL. We will be crazy good next year. Considering we have the tools to be in the playoff this year, we are going to be ridiculous next year especially if LF7 returns and is healthy.

He wants all 3 phases of the game playing solid football, so no. The ST needs a complete makeover and the D needs depth.

We are losing 3 ol and the mlb and 2 in the secondary....more than likely. That's pretty big

It would be an "ultimate" squad for just about any coach, not just specific to Miles

I'm not sold on the defense at all. Other than that, I think the overall premise is pretty good that this is the best team in awhile at truly expressing Les's football philosophy.

A big reason for the success of the 2011 team was field position. I know it sounds crazy, but I think a punter like Brad Wing on this team would widen our margin of victory by at least 7 points per game. I think he was a big part of being able to beat Alabama that year, and I'm worried that this may be the reason we lose to them this year. But either way, this is definitely a great Les Miles type team.

I heard a sports guy talking about Les Miles as the madd hater. He said Les takes chances only when he is positive of the out come. Its obvious he is gaining that confidence in this offense. Thinking back to the 07 offense i think this guys analogy is 100% right. Les only gambles when he knows the outcome before hand.

No outcome is 100% although I agree he has to trust the players to take the risk of a trick play. I would add Miles also has to trust his defense in the unlikely scenario of the play not working.

Miles has to play with relative inexperience because LSU recruits so well that many players leave early for the NFL. I think BH is highly satisfactory as he will most likely play out his eligibility at LSU. As far as our losses this year I like the playing experience that defensive players and even the offensive line players. I am not worried about the DBs as LSU is deep and experienced in this area. LB is a big concern and hopefully we will get some beasts in this year's recruiting class.

If Neal and Beckwith leave I don't see next year being better. The oline might take a step back, especially if Pocic leaves, and the defense would be weaker
