I pay $100 per month for the high deductible plan with HSA option (which I take advantage of).

I never go to the doctor. I still think it's too much.

Geez, where are some of y'all getting these rates? My plan is considered a high deductible plan for us, so I get an HSA with it, which my employer puts up 1000 a year in for me.

And only 10 a month for dealt all too.

This thread is dumb. There's people quoting all different types of plans with no details. Plus there people quoting their portion and neglecting how much their employer pays.

I pay $350/month self employed for 100/80 coverage. $3700 deductable.

I don't know. Maybe it varies by state. It was competitive with other plans I looked at. Besides, not having to pay for health makes me not give much of a shite about a few dollars on dental.

I'll admit I don't know all the details. I'm retired military so I have Tricare Standard. Once in a while I'll have a small copay but that's about it. It just works.

For just me...I think its about $80/month. I work for a very large corp. High deductible plan; I have a HSA and the corp gives me $400 each year.

This.

To anyone attempting to brag here by sharing that they pay nothing for their Health Insurance, just no. If your employer pays 100%, then that's part of your benefit package. That is less in wages then you could have made if the employer didn't have to pay for your insurance. You EARNED the value of the cost of the policy. You are showing that you are not real bright when you claim it "cost you nothing".

It's not sour grapes coming from me as I have my Health Insurance plan premiums paid 100%, the cost of my plan is valued at around $16k per year.

My dental is around $16/month and vision is another $10/month.

My parents are self employed and hearing the amounts they pay for just health insurance is sickening.

They are around $800/month on a high deductible plan.

No one asked what your total compensation package was. They asked how much you pay for health care. My health insurance costs me zero.

Yes, you are technically right and this is why all HR reps talk about "the overall compensation package" when you are negotiating.

Do you know what it's worth in the real market?
