It happened at the BRPD/EBRSO Range last week so temperatures don't need to be that extreme.

I'd have to see data on how the weapons were conditioned prior to use on that range. I'll tell you this, neither EOTech or AimPoint passed rough handling tests with respect to maintaining zero. I'm pretty sure impact is more likely than being exposed to temperature extremes at any level of use which. I know it is because getting M68's mounted, properly zeroed, and maintaining their zero is a hell of a chore everytime I conduct weapons qual with this unit. I'd rather use irons.
