But these people with mental health issues are legally buying the guns they use. So... what's your solution?
Scruffy doesn't have one, nor does he think we need one.

This country is too peaceful already.

How about just taxing ammo $100/round.

How would that stop mass shootings? You think the killer is going to be conservative because he's worried about paying his mortgage when he's finished?

Gun control is much ado about nothing. It's the politics of fear.

No, that's to curb the everyday shootings. So that "but what about Chicago!!!" tired-arse argument might finally go by the wayside.

So there's no merit to it?

The first sentence that you neglected to quote contains the merits.

Got it. So hurt millions of innocent Americans from being able to buy ammo to keep PoS gangsters from shooting each other. Solid logic.

But for lawful owners. Hell no

How's about comparing banning guns to prohibition then? Didn't work out that time and gave rise to the mob. What would happen if guns were the subject of the ban?

My favorite stat is that, though gun violence has decreased slightly in countries with strict gun laws, the homicide rates stayed pretty much the same and people just used different ways to kill. Also, their violent crimes actually tripled and rape had a large increase as well.

I posted it the other day and people for gun control just ignore it but you can read it all in the link below.

kimber will halt production on CA compliant guns, as many manufacturers have. why would you accommodate such a fricked up state

as they do with every stat you give them. they let their recency bias and proximity bias completely blind them

Yea it's amazing that we have actual Countries we can look to in order to prove that taking away guns from innocent people doesn't change murder rates and only increases violence as criminals have no deterrent yet they choose to ignore it.
