I have been right more than wrong. I think the Saints got the best QB in this years draft and that not saying much. The others will be flops. The only one I thought was a sure thing was Luck.

I should also add that as a child when the Saints drafted Wuerffel I had convinced myself (after years of watching him torch LSU) that he would be the savior. I vividly remember my dad laughing at me, but as someone who didn't know shite about football and only knew names I thought for sure we got the GOAT.

I really expected Marc Wilson to become a superstar with the Raiders. He looked awesome coming out of BYU, and in his early playing opportunities with the Raiders.

He could barely walk by the time he graduated and wasn't even drafted

Dan McGwire...I thought being Mark McGwire's brother would propel him to stardom with the Seahawks. I collected his rookie card like a doomsday prepper. I was 9 and didn't know any better

I was the same way. I couldn't understand why it wasn't a big deal that we just drafted the Heisman trophy winner.

The only one I can honestly say I'm surprised by.

The only QB's I have since said would be superstars were Manning and Luck. And I certainly didn't think Brady would be.

I fully expected Russell to be a bust. Save about 3/4 of his last year the dude was lazy as hell. His vision was terrible and he trusted his arm way too much.

Agreed, was completely losing it when we drafted him. Such a buzzkill haha.

Also Shaun King was destined for great things especially after leading Tampa Bay to the playoffs his first two seasons. Then Gruden comes in and for some reason replaces him with Brad Johnson. Luckily for him that worked out but at the time i thought they were insane for giving up on a promising young QB.
