...but didn't pan out?

Jamarcus Russell and RG3 were two guys who I thought would be superstar QB's. Matt Leinart to a much lesser extent. I at least thought he'd be better than Young and Cutler, the other 2 QB's taken in the first round that year.

On the other side of the coin, I thought Blaine Gabbert and Josh Freeman were drafted way too high and wouldn't live up the 1st round hype.

i was trying to bet anyone i could find that rg3 would be a bust. I thought he would stay injured because of his play style. So far, i nailed it.

with that said, i thought leaf would be a stud in the nfl, also thought that palmer would be a star.

I thought Leinart would really pan out.

Even though I never quite thought he would be a "superstar", I believed Kyle Boller was headed for big things because I was more naïve and read some report about him doing some shite at some workout like throwing the ball from midfield through the uprights while on his knees.

And while I guessed right on Manning vs Leaf, I still thought that Leaf would at least make it somewhat of a barroom conversation by the time they both hung it up.

Vince Young

he was jsut so good at Texas. I feel like he would have had a much better chance if he was coming into the NFL now. Even with the mental problems

Offenses way more willing to work towards his strengths.

Considering the receiving corps Leinart had when he got drafted by the Cards, I thought there was no way he was going to turn into a bust.

After Rohan Davey won the NFL Europe league MVP and championship I figured he would make some noise in the NFL, but it never happened.
