RG3
Russell
Eric Ainge
Colt McCoy
Christian Ponder (didn't think he would be a star, but didn't think he would be gone so quickly)

I'm a pretty hard evaluator of QBs though, I think most of them will fail. I was right about Josh Freeman, Sam Bradford, Dirty Sanchez, Vince Young, EJ Manuel, Geno Smith

I think Teddy Bridgewater is going to be a great quarterback in the NFL..that's probably the one I'll be wrong about. I love that kid though. I think he will figure out how to succeed.

Peyton Manning is about the only one I thought would be a super star.

I thought Leinart would be average to above average. In all fairness, he suffered some bad breaks with injuries after getting beat out by Warner when Warner had one of his most productive years in the NFL.

I thought Sanchez would also be above average. But he just forces to much. I still believe he'll have some good games, which will be quickly offset with his decision making in other games.

I never thought Jamarcus would pan out, other than being a periodic starter. I certainly did not think he would be a bust.

I thought Vince Young would be average to below because of his limited passing skills.

VY is still weird because he was pretty good all the way up to being cut by the Titans.

People don't realize this, but he was leading the legue in passer rating when he as cut. Part of that was because he threw less than other starters, but it amazes me that some other QBs get chance after chance and VY didn't.

I'll cop to this one, too.

His junior year was one of the best quarterbacking years I think I have ever seen at the college level.

Then you look at it from the perspective of 2015, and you see who he was throwing to - Michael Floyd, Kyle Rudolph, and Golden Tate - and realize that a trained monkey would have looked good throwing to those three.

After watching Mallet at Ark, I thought he'd be a pro bowler by now.

Didn't read all the threads, so this might have been mentioned already. But isn't it something that Matt Leinart's back-up at USC, Matt Cassel has probably played better as a professional than Leinart has?

Of course, Vince Young is one who never reached his potential, after also having a super college playing career.
