Have you ever been cut off at a bar?

Obviously not counting closing.
Reading about the Braves fan who died last night got me thinking because some people should say the stadium workers should have cut him off. I really don't think I've ever been cut off or see one of my friends refused alcohol and I definitely have been ordering drinks when I can barely stand straight.
Does this happen often? I'm trying to even think of a time I've seen it besides in a movie or something. Do some bartenders actually care or are most just willing to serve until you do something stupid to be thrown out by the bouncers?

I've been cut off before.
But it's usually because I can't form words.

I'm never at a bar/club long enough to get cut off. Im usually leaving with a girl or two in the first 30 min.

I have never, some of my friends have though. I drink a lot but almost never show it. Even when I'm drunk you can't really tell I'm drunk.

unfortunately, more times than I'd like to admit. Hasn't happened for several years though.

If anything, I've been in too many stadiums where the design so emphasizes squeezing in too many seats that it's hard not to trip. Between narrow walkways, steep angles, and crammed in seats, people struggle to keep upright even sober.
and I've been asked to leave more than be cut off. Most places in BR won't cut you off unless you're falling over.

I got my whole group cut off at a sports bar because I drank from the pitcher when I didn't have a cup. Supposedly here in TX you can't do that.

The most recent was at Buffalo Wild Wings on Trivia night or something.
Apparently I had 16 drinks in 2 hours (doubles). The system said I couldn't have any more booze.

I went to this bar in Downtown San Antonio one time. I just ate dinner, maybe had 1 beer with my meal, and then went here to wait on some friends. I ordered a glass of Woodford Reserve, drank it, and was getting ready to go meet my friends. Before I could ask for the check, the bartender was bringing it to me, told me that he was cutting me off and that I needed to leave. I was about to do that anyways, so I just paid, shrugged it off, and left. It bothered me more, the more I thought about it.
