I've had the Feel Free lure 13.5 for 5 or 6 weeks now but haven't been able to take it out, it's all good though because I just finished making the modifications I wanted and getting the lowrance mounted.

1) This is a heavy beast of a kayak. I've got a Yakima rack with J cradles...yea that isn't happening. At 94 pounds and 36 inches wide, this thing is not getting car topped on its side by one person. I took the J cradles off and with the help of the load assist bar was able to top it flat onto some foam pads I'd put on the bars.

2) this kayak takes a few power strokes to get up to speed but it glides well. To be expected from one this wide.

3) The seat is as advertised. Simply awesome

4) Same goes for the stability. I could stand up and turnaround with ease and never felt shaky standing up. Feel like I could throw a cast net off of it.

5) the sonar pod is great. I just put a little silicone on the inside where I drilled the holes for the transducer, put some sponges on top of that for "just in case" cut a piece of hard plastic to lay over the sponges (there pod has a lip so plastic isn't touching sponges), and had room for my battery and all the cables to sit on the plastic piece.

6) all-in-all seems like it will be great for lake and bay fishing, would not recommend for guys that fish the river a lot

7) ample room for dry storage and a huge standing platform. The stern storage is about an inch too narrow to fit my Pelican 35 cooler

Yes, this is my dogs couch now, she claimed it by ripping it to shreds

Nice looking yak rigged right. Be careful if that transducer is lowest point of the yak.

Nice setup. Where'd you take it? I took my yak on it's maiden voyage in the LSU lakes. So undignified. It never let me forget. The stank was still on it when I sold it four years later.

I love their seats but was always curious if they held any water after getting wet?

Congrats on the yak. That thing looks like a pig in the water and I wouldn't want to top load that on an SUV. Other than that nice boat.
