Not sure if this has been posted or not... came across it this morning and thought I’d share.

Article is stating what we all knew of JH... he is a beast!

Very proud of the young man. So happy to see him, Odell, Juice, and Blue representing their individual programs well. They were all outstanding young men at LSU and I'm delighted to see them reaping the rewards that that they earned on and off the field.

Very proud too. Though Jeremy had a couple hiccups while in school, so maybe outstanding isn't the correct use of words for him. On the field, hell yes it applies.

He made a mistake, but he was antagonized by a young individual and it was solved in the courtroom. Move past it.

Hill is the best back LSU has had in the Miles era. Pretty impressive. I think the article is correct in saying he could very well end up breaking CD records in Cincy.

Unfortunately, most LSU fans actually don't know this. Hill is literally one of the most underrated players at LSU. It's astounding what kind of year Hill put together in 2013. It could be argues that it was the most impressive rushing year by an LSU back in history, and that includes those years by Alexander in the 70's.

Hill's 2013:

RUSHING GP Att Gain Loss Net Avg TD Long Avg/G
Jeremy Hill 12 203 1423 22 1401 6.9 16 69 116.8

That's insane, considering he essentially didn't regain the starting role until game 3 or so. The guy was a home run threat every time he touched the ball, and it began to feel as if any time that team got to about the 50 yard line Hill was going to take one to the house.

Sadly, Hill's off season fight and high school bullshite allowed far too many in our idiotic fan base to throw him under the bus, thereby missing the incredible season he put together that year. So much so that they were more worried about Fournette showing up the following season to recognize what was happening in Tiger Stadium and around the SEC with Hill all that year.

To Jeremy Hill!

I loved Hester as much as the next person. Ran with as much intensity as anyone I've seen... but Hester was not on Hill's level.

Yeah we all know Hester was a very good back and number 18 and carried us in the 4th quarter of 2007 Florida game, Hill was the better running back his last year.

Of course. Man served his punishment. However, that doesnt mean you have to rewrite history and say he was a fine young man while at LSU

Hill will be in the top 3 in rushing yards this season even with Giovanni. As long as he is healthy.

Buga has a chance, but Hill led the SEC in YPC and at the time set the SEC record.

He really is, and I agree the best in the Miles era to date. Will blow up this year if he can stay healthy.

My god how putrid was our D with Hill, Mett, Landry, ODBjr on O.

Stats aside, I think they were a wash. I think Hesters importance and value to the 2007 team was more than what Hills was during his soph season. Raw football ability, Hill was better. But raw football ability is only part of it. I am not trying to say Hill was some bum even compared to Hester. They were both studs.
