Who would've thought he'd have been in the League for 8 years.

Straight stats show that he's pretty solid

I think someone will pick him up this season, but this is probably his last season.

Wait, I thought he was going to be starting the 4 games that Brady was out for?

30 years old, $18M, minimal wear/tear on body, SB Champ, National Champ. Not bad work if you can get it.

It's crazy that the likes of Landry Jones can be a backup in the NFL but then cut Flynn.

Please don't copy and paste so much from an article. 2-3 paragraphs max

Do a quick post search of BenchMcelroy. His go-to post is quoting a 15 paragraph article, adding the link and nothing else.

When they analyze New England's bust of a season next January, this is the first thing they'll point to.

Man, I'm jealous . No major injuries, barely played. Basically got paid to stay in shape. To Matt Flynn

It's partly luck & timing getting on the right team, both with regards to that team having a need for that position, and with the system they run being a better fit for a player's skill set.

I gotta think he can still make Green Bay's roster. Hundley's not ready to be the #2 guy there.

Jones won't be for long

ETA and if this isn't a vote of confidence for Garrappollo, then I don't know what is

quote:

Patriots signed QB Ryan Lindley. Matt Flynn couldn't get over his pre-camp hamstring pull, so he loses his No. 3 job. If Lindley can keep his head above water, he'll serve as Jimmy Garoppolo's backup while Tom Brady is suspended. Lindley appeared in nine NFL games (six starts) for the Cardinals over the last three years, completing just 50.8 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
