Headed to Disney in November. What's the best site to monitor airfare prices?

Google flights and southwests website. When in november? I'm guessing thanksgiving? I bought a roundtrip to dallas for $97 tues-fri night a month ago. I'm not sure if we'll see prices like that for Orlando but I'll look

Eta: November not December

No, going the middle of November. I've heard horror stories about thanksgiving at that place. With a family of 6 it's gonna be ridiculous regardless of how cheap flights get, but it's better than driving 12 hours with 2 kids under 5.

I saw the LAX-DFW-LGA or LGA-DFW-LAX same day roundtrip for $150 earlier today around 1pm. It looks like it's gone now though on google flights (over $300), sorry wish I could help more. I would've posted it if I knew anyone else on here was AA (like me). Most people are delta or united

Good advice, I do it weekly but probably could profit by doing it even more regularly.

Thanks.

Dale, been flying to Disney every year for the last 10 years and haven't found an airline that can get me cheaper to Disney than Southwest.

Their direct flight is usually the cheapest option, which is also the only direct flight to MCO out of New Orleans.

Good luck getting the cheapest flight there. I look every day when we have a trip planned but I have never done any metrics on how many days out I found the cheapest flight.

No way to avoid a shitty airport when going to NYC it seems.

I got a nice dandy SW into LGA with a return out of Newark on United for Labor Day Weekend. Yippee

I haven't seen too many international deals recently. I'd say hold out at least a few weeks longer since you're still over 3 months out

LGA

You see that Delta and NYC are fixing to pour serious money in to the dump otherwise known as LGA?

I don't fly much, why would you need to do this?

Let me how Newark is, I'm connecting there on the way back from the syracuse game. Haven't been there in a few years so not sure if it's gotten worse or better.

I saw this. Delta had put in some serious work the last time I was there, it was good with the outlets everywhere. I'm hoping it turns out well

From what I've seen, the airlines store cookies in your web browser so they can see what flights you're looking at. If they see that you keep browsing those flights, sometimes they can raise the prices just so you book it before you think it'll jump even more. I just use google flights since it has everything, I'll gladly vouch for how good it is specifically for flights.

Well what I'd be curious to know is the % at which ticket prices rose when the price of oil increased vs now when oil is falling. If I had to guess, airlines are making bank now because they're keeping the prices high aka the collusion the DOJ is investigating. I've been able to notice it just through looking at google flights

Its the samething with gas stations. Price at the pump seemingly shot up over night, but now that oil is back to roughly 03/04 prices, we're still not paying 03/04 prices at the pump.

Yep.. sucks for the deal hunting flyer. Now you get MQMs in relation to how far you flew. But those aren't redeemable.. only counting for Medallion status.
