Jefferson's efficiency using YOUR numbers = 159.7

BTW, using YOUR numbers, Jefferson has a higher completion percentage and a higher yards per attempt average.

ok, point taken. now add Jefferson's next two starts, one being against a common opponent

holy shite, jefferson was AWFUL at the combine. He was rated as THE worst player at the combine
You REALLY need to learn the facts.

Jefferson had the lowest grade prior to the Combine. Of the fifteen QBs who competed in the 2012 NFL Combine, Jefferson was the only quarterback to finish among the top five in each test during the event. Among the quarterbacks, Jefferson finished first in the 20-yard shuttle, tied for first in the bench press, and finished third in the 40-yard dash and the vertical jump.

that league has 4 teams dude
No. It has double that amount.

Do you know ANY facts at all?!?!

He was great his sophomore year despite all the crap he had going against him.

1) first year starter in the SEC West (back when the SEC played defense)
2) worst OL I have seen at LSU with both pass blocking and run blocking
3) a run game that only netted a little over 1400 yards and 14 TDs when you take out what measly amount he had (that included Russell Shepard who was a QB at the time)

He finished with nearly 2200 yards passing 17 TDs and 170 rushing and 1 TD in 11 and a half games. The game against Penn State the WRs dropped at least 3 TD passes and 150 yards. I remember ESPN showing the static of him being second in the country in the redzone (first being Kellen Moore).

IMO they changed him for the worse. We had no QB coach and they wanted him to play more as an option QB, when he wasn't that. He was a dual threat QB that could scramble.

It's a lot of blame that should go around for how he regressed.

how did he perform in the positional drills, you know the ones that actually help show how good of a QB he is? No one ever questioned his ability to run fast or jump, nor did anyone question that prior to the combine

no it has 4 teams, or had 4 teams when he played in the league. and they played a 4 game season LINK / and why you're listing him performing well in a brand new experimental league with other players that couldn't hack it anywhere else as some sort of an accomplishment is beyond me. jefferson is, was, and always will be AWFUL

i thought we were only using stats in games the two STARTED? Lee split time with jefferson, yet you are using his lack of numbers in those 5 games against Lee. Going into the Alabama game Lee had thrown for over 1200 yards and 13 TDs to only 1 INT, while splitting time in more than half of his starts.
Dude, really?!?!

Lee's efficiency using YOUR numbers = 151.2
Jefferson's efficiency using YOUR numbers = 159.7

quote:

Jefferson played against two horrible teams and played the game of his career against Arkansas.
And yet Lee started against the worst defense, and 4 of the 5 worst defenses that LSU played . . . and he still couldn't outperform Jefferson. In the games that Lee started, LSU had ONE game over 450 total yards . . . in nine starts. In the games that Jefferson started, EVERY game LSU had over 450 total yards.

quote:

he then followed that up with the two single worst games as a QB in LSU history.
LSU blew out Georgia in the SECCG. LSU's offense scored four touchdowns. Jefferson executed the option and zone read to near perfection in the second half.

quote:

jefferson was fricking garbage

The facts say that Jefferson was better than Lee.

And the leader of the offense was??????
The O-Line was providing NO blocking. There was no running game, and Jefferson had NO time to pass.

So I guess that perfect pass to Ware[with his backed turned was someone else fault>>>>>
Ware did not have his back turned when Jefferson started his motion to pass. I don't blame Ware, it was just bad timing.

Face it ...the dude went out and partied the night before and was totally confused and unfocused to lead a team in the most important game of his life.....

LINK? Did the entire offensive line join him? Please share your link with me.

what does the rest of the team have to do with Lee? We won by way of a blowout in every game Lee started outside Alabama.

LSU's offense scored four touchdowns. Jefferson executed the option and zone read to near perfection in the second half.

Jefferson threw for 30 yards and led LSU to a whopping 10 yards in the 1st half. Tyrann Mathieu and the rest of the LSU defense won that game for LSU. We had 237 yards of total offense. Stop trying to twist things around to make Jefferson look good. He was dreadful in that game. Alfred Blue had a 50+ yard TD run. What did that have to do with Jefferson. Mathieu had a 47 yard punt return down to the UGA 17 yard line. We then ran off tackle three straight plays for a TD. How do you give credit to Jefferson for that? Jefferson had two drives that ENTIRE GAME that went over 4 plays, FOUR PLAYS, and one of those went 6 plays and a punt.

I never said Jefferson belonged in the Hall of Fame.

You said it.

I said Jefferson was better than Lee.

Jefferson must have performed well. He was signed by Tampa Bay AFTER the NFL Combine.

Jefferson was waived so that Tampa Bay could have a replacement for Da'Quan Bowers, a projected starter who suffered a probable season-ending injury.

how did he throw at the combine? who, before the combine, thought jefferson wouldn't perform well running fast and jumping high? his grades were low because he was fundamentally the worst QB prior to the combine and was after the combine. i'm sure every QB it the combine was invited to someone's training camp and many more that weren't. that doesn't really help prove jefferson was good. Lee stayed at a camp much, much longer than jefferson.

lolz.

He was signed AFTER the combine, AFTER the draft, and AFTER Lee was signed by the Chargers.

So how long have you worked for the FB team? Why keep defending JJ?

Not really. Only 11 QBs were drafted in 2012.

Lee was not drafted either.

Lee was picked up by someone before Jefferson and actually stuck around long enough to play in 4 preseason games. If Jefferson was so much better, why did no one else give him a shot in the preseason?
