Where did he say that? The only quote I read along these lines came from Doyle when he said...

It's true I hate those films with a deep abiding hate - like from the Old Neighborhood - or the hatred I have for SEC-West teams.
Not sure I'd kill someone, merely for liking the films, though. Now J.J. Abrams or Chris Pine go missing? Yeah, I'm going to need a good alibi for those situations. I'll definitely get asked to go downtown and answer some questions.

I didn't read or hear that in the 911 videos

Two morons walk in, one walks out and goes to prison.

Last week I was handing a guy at a corner a few bucks at a red light when the light changed, maybe a 1 second delay in starting my vehicle moving. The a-hole behind me lays on the horn all the way through the light, then pulls up next to me trying to get me to pull over. I was on my way to work so just kept driving, and the guy followed me about 20 miles, almost to my office. Anyone willing to do that over something so minor is not stable, and I would have treated any interaction with him as though he were not rational, and most definitely a threat.
I would never have led someone like that to my house though, because if they are crazy enough to follow me home who knows what they could come back and do.

Doyle wasn't on his own property. It's indefensible.
Wonder how much of a threat Doyle thought the children were that he felt the need to stick a gun in their face. frick that piece of dogshit.

That video was chocked full of ads, and the website was slow as frick. Did not watch, and will not watch because of that.
Where did this all go down?

Wait....what?? What country you from
Another crazy case out of Florida. You have a guy admitting on 911 he's gonna shoot the other guy...witness saying the victim was backing away and a reported 3 gunshot wounds to the back and then he forced the family out of their car? That guy is DONE!
Tragic....dont care what anyone does, im not gonna follow them...aint that serious.

15 seconds of an ad. But if you want to keep being the uninformed macho man that's going to shoot regardless of the situation, go on.

This is what will inevitable doom Doyle. That's going to be pretty tough to explain.

Deputies reviewed the 9-1-1 recording made by Doyle's wife and Doyle himself and said Doyle was recorded saying his "[weapon] is cocked, locked and ready to go," and that Doyle claimed that he was going to "shoot the victim in the head" once they got to his home.
quote:
Deputies also heard Gonzalez's wife in the background pleading with Doyle to put away the weapon and "don't shoot" multiple times before five audible gunshots can be heard in the recording.
There is no way this guy beats this...NONE!

Deputies talked to an independent witness who was about 75 yards away from the shooting who said they saw Gonzalez back away from Doyle before Doyle opened fire. That witness also said that Doyle forced the family out of the vehicle.

Did you miss this part of the article?
But you are working in hindsight now. How is Doyle supposed to know that Gonzales doesn't have a gun in his car he's trying to get to?
If I'm on a jury the one fact that is going to stick in my head is that Gonzales followed Doyle to his home, went on to his property, and confronted him. To me, regardless of what happened on the road, this is the catalyst for the violence. If my family is in the car and someone I don't know pulls in my driveway after following me after an incident, I'm going to assume he is a threat.
I would need more evidence before I could make a decision, but based on what's given I'm not sure I could convict this guy of second degree murder.

The 911 calls aren't going to outweigh that? Not to mention the fact that Doyle wasn't on his property when he shot Gonzalez?
It really scares me how some of yall choose not to take in all the facts of a case.

Wait, the article says Gonzes followed Doyle to his home, right?
Is that not correct?
As for the 911 calls, it doesn't override Gonzales's actions of confronting Doyle at his home (unless that is wrong)
Eta: the article is written in a way that makes it seem like the confrontation takes place at Doyle's home. If that's not the case then that changes things dramatically.

Like I said, your thought process scares me. There's more than one fact in this case, but you're letting one outweigh all of the others.

Not all evidence is equal. That should be a given.
