Mine has to be the 2011 team due to all of the stars we had and depth. There was so much talent and it was also a very historic season. What are yall's favorite LSU team?? This year could be one of the best IMO

Can't really explain why. But my favorite would have to be the 2010 season.

1969 Mac's national champion should have been Longhorns ducked us after agreement that was to bring LSU to Cottonbowl was given to Notre Dame.

Probably 2003, just from a simple standpoint it was when I first can remember getting into LSU football. Also they had a lot of just really good guys and players that went out and worked harder than most, not saying anything negative about any other team.

Also the natty didnt hurt . Still my favorite personal game as a Tiger to this day was UGA on that magical run to the Dome.

1997. Kevin Faulk was a star, I was a young kid, and the upset of Florida made me fall in love with LSU football.

2001- Rohan to reed was crazy fun to watch. The upset over Tennessee brought LSU their first Sec championship in over a decade. I fondly remember that Sugar Bowl with my dad.

2003- no explanation needed. That team was filthy. Splitting the title with USCe made me more aware of college football on a national level.

2006- I loved watching Jamarcus throw the football. We had some superstars on defense.

2011- the most complete LSU team of my life. The honey badger was a bonafide superstar. That team was just mauling people. My final year at LSU. Great memories.

So much swag on that team lead by the Honey Badger, a once in a generation type player.

For me it's a tie between 03 and 11 teams. But if I had to choose I would have to go with 03 only because they won the national title. The 03 defence was strong, smart and aggressive. The 11 defence was quick, fast, and game changers everywhere. If only we could have had Matt Mauck in the 11 title game. He wasn't great, but he was smart and accurate enough to find and hit those open receivers.

A little biased towards some good friends on the team, but the 1988 team was fun for me to watch, Hodson to Wendell Davis and Tony Moss, pass to Eddie Fuller in the earthquake game, lots of great memories!

The 2001 team without a doubt. They had a never say die attitude. Even after getting their teeth kicked in by Florida and losing a heartbreaker to Ole Miss, they started peaking at the right time.

I absolutely LOVED beating TN. I felt like they should have beaten them in Knoxville that year too. The Arkansas game was a great one to be at. Beating Auburn was satisfying. And destroying the Big Ten champ set the stage for a change of guard in college football. People started to take notice not just of the SEC, but LSU after that year.

1997 team. As a kid my first year to follow lsu was the 1995 team and every year we got better. Then came 1997 and it was a up and down year with wins over #1 Florida and Alabama even though they sucked. Then lost games to auburn, ole miss, and Norte dame. It gave us Cecil Collins for a couple of games but I got to see my favorite lsu player Kevin Faulk. We had so much talent especially on defense. I loved booger McFarland, chuck Wiley, and mark roman. I always loved that team. We should have won against auburn but herb Tyler threw 2 first quarter interceptions and Cecil had 234 yards rushing. If ole miss was a night game instead of the 11:30 Jefferson pilot game after we beat Florida we would have won also. Norte dame was the only game they were better then us. Luckily we beat them in the rematch game. If bama would have won against auburn in the iron bowl we would have played Tennessee in the sec championship game. Bama was winning the whole game and lost at the end. The year before we needed auburn to beat bama and they were winning the whole game till bama won at the end. We would have went to back to back sec championship games.
